Tool Manufacturing
Our dual competence as mould maker and plastics processor enable us to be more flexible and reactive during the development phases.
THOMAS SA manufactures prototype and production metallic moulds, intended for the conversion of plastics material. To meet the requirements of competitiveness and delivery times, we follow a policy of continuous investment in a stock of high-performance machines :

Plastic Injection
Our objective : to make available to you a machine stock of 76 presses with a capacity from 20 to 450 tonnes, robots and high performance peripheral equipment, and to offer suitable production facilities for you. The process of continuous improvement drives our business. We have available differentiated entities for producing your prototype parts and those intended for small, medium and mass production.

2K injection
Dual-material injection enables THOMAS SA to offer its customers innovative solutions for combining two different materials and thus making it possible to obtain different colours, functions and feel on one and the same part, thus reducing assembly costs.
Transparent and Optic Parts
Since the business was set up, transparent parts have constituted a major know-how of the company.
Annual consumption of PMMA (Plexiglas) is 500 tonnes per annum, making THOMAS one of the major players in the conversion of transparent and optical plastic parts.
The fields of application are many : automotive, medical, laboratory, aeronautics, optics, etc. For parts with a size ranging from a few millimetres to several tens of centimetres.
The key success factors in this field are :
- High investment in research and development
- Capability for the production and maintenance of tooling.
- Mastery of methods of part decorating and coating internally and organisation of the subcontracting network. Painting, Hot Marking, Pad Printing, Vacuum Metallisation, Ultrasonic and vibration moulding, Laser cutting, Anti-glare, Anti-UV and anti-scratch coating.

Technical Raw Material
Apart from the standard materials regularly converted by the company (PE, PP, ABS, PC, PA, etc.), THOMAS SA, in partnership with certain materials manufacturers, has developed specific know-how on the conversion of technopolymers.

Thomas is a Key actor in the transparent and optic plastic field since 1956 : In addition to the ability to design parts, manufacture and polish optic tools, injection transparent plastic parts, THOMAS has the ability since 2006 to do spray coating internally in a clean room ISO7,with a 6 axes robot to provide to the parts for example anti scratch and anti fog coating depending of the kind of varnish used
